Too Real..?
I'm sure I have made my opinion of religion quite obvious over the last few... years. But today I found an interesting article titled 'Do we really need to see his agony so graphically?', of coure the 'He' refers to Jesus [I will avoid the Christ label]. The obvious answer he is no you dont NEED to see it, just don't go!. For Gods sake [no pun intended] if you don't want to see Mel Gibsons slant of the story then don't watch it. In all honestly 'If' it really happened, which ever story you feel is the correct one, do you really think the Romans or whoever was responsible for Jesus' death just slap his hand and said 'Bad Jesus'. Or maybe King Herod slapped an anti-social behaviour ban on Jesus, banning him from within a two mile radius of Jerusalem!!
Oh and As for the 'He died for us' slogan... I'm fed up of hearing it! Who died for me?... and what exactly was the other option in all of this? If you truely believe Jesus died for You [and that's entirely up to you] please in future refer to 'He died for ME' instead.
