The Fast and the Furious...
I was reading the usual new websites over lunch and came across the story of lots of upset people, upset because of the Jerry Springer Opera the BBC aired a few weeks ago. It caused a fuss then and it still is, mostly by people offended by the language or the fact it may have a strange twist on Religion woven into the story. Now I knew this was on so made sure i caught a bit of it (Had to after all it has caused such a fuss in Christian cirlces, and I like that sort of thing 'Judge not or ye shall be judged' or something) and to be honest it was not something that pushed any of my buttons.
I was suprised to see how many complaints had been lodged about this, but the most amazing part was how many complained before it had happened! The BBC received 55,000 complaints before the broadcast and 8,000 after it was shown... typical decide before you know what your talking about! But I thought about this and most people probably were told by people what happens and the storyline before they (if at all) saw it for themselves, not suprising that many were Christians then after all they believe anything they're told or read *ahem* Bible *cough*...
Oh I must do more anti-Religion ranting.
