Well, I have just heard the most disturbing ( yet funny ) thing on a recent news programme.
A recent study into the users of cannabis has apparently shown that they are up to 6 times more likely to suffer from some forms of mental health, IE schizophrenia and depression. At first I was very worried ( all 2 of me ) but I then sat and thought.... 10 years later I actually feel in better mental health than ever before. I am not saying this has any link to regular use, but I think and hope that it disproves this suggestion in at least my case.

What I'd reallt like to see now is a study into the effects of alchohol use... at least I can get 8 years worth of brownie points by not drinking!

Well, as most of the youth of London ( regardless of race and origins ) is speaking Patois I decided to see if i could track down an English translation. I have a few Jamaican friends and have always understood them to a certain degree but here is a list so that everyone can join in!

Be warned some content is fairly, ummmm normal (explicit).

Ok I'm back on a Religious theme.. ( yawn ) ..but no, this is of a more humourous nature. On invading a recent chat room named, I think 'Jesus will save you' I asked the simple question "Save me from what exactly?" this led to a debate about the words of the Bible and contradictions. I also met up with someone who has pretty much the same belief as me, that the morals of religion are just yet the need for a 'God' is not, and he led to me this site. One part of it is a copy of a chat with 3 people, one being the athiest author the others believers in 'God'. He uses the point of elves as the almighty, yet nothing else changes in the principles of their Religion.

Take a look at the response....

I have seen a few of these 'closed worlds' recently, The Eden project is managing to recreate the environments need to enable certain plant life that would otherwise not live in this country. Obviously we are still in the first step to fully manufacturing a whole world, but many think this is one step nearer to, for example, living on Mars. Starting with the plantlife isn't easy but by all means is a lot easier than Humans ( just look at Big Brother to see that people just can't cope for 8 or so weeks, let alone years! )

One thing that i found ammusing is that the one thing that we can't do yet is make food last long enough to keep. Just looking through my cupboards i can agree, Flour out of date months ago , Peppercorns also a few months out of date and I didnt even go look in the fridge! Now if i can't manage to keep food in date on this planet I wouldnt want to be the one trying to keep fresh bread on Mars!

Good luck to them, if someone can create plants that live 5 times as long, I'm gonna buy a few.... after 3 weeks of me forgetting to water them they're still alive! Just what i need.

OK, thanks to a colleague at work I was given this little puzzle to figure out.
Lets see who's the first one to email me the answer and win the grand prize of something not so amazing (I’m open to suggestions).

You have two bottles both are of different shapes and designs; one holds 5 litres the other 3 litres. You also have an endless supply of water; nothing else is at your disposal. All you have to do is make exactly 4 litres of water... Easy eh?

Happy Diwali

Yes i know I am not celebrating but it's not like i can't hear all the fireworks ( very few have anything to do with Guy Fawkes! ) I know a lot of people across a few religions celebrating it so i thought i'd research just what its all about.
