Odd Job...

I thought I'd heard it all when the other day an interview with a old jobless lady struggling to make ends meet, held in a kitchen for the poor and needy, really made me laugh. Oh dont get me wrong I felt for her after all she had spent 20 years unemployed due to not having the needed qualifications, but then she started on the most amazing path of conversation... she said that her [remember she is a woman] favourite job now would be as Father Christmas! and that she would enojy seeing the kids happy... althought she doesnt like children?! Now the true reason behind why she was unemployed for so long showed!

Lost puppy...

Well the excitment has died down since Beagle was sent down to the surface of Mars and then disappeared. Well it was inevitable I guess, I always knew if our family dog came across an open field and was not on a lead it would run off wildly for as long as possible, Beagle has an entire planet to explore... but sadly no trees or lamposts [that we know of]. In Typical British style we shrug of the mission as an experience only to be upstaged by the Americans and NASA who landed and made contact and have even started to receive pictures. What I'm still wondering is why this unit is also named after a Dog... Was it Canine appreiciation day when the space meeting took place ??

Well maybe we'll be lucky and Rover will find Beagle taking a nap, or maybe we'll just find signs of life!
