A quest called Tribe...

I don't know if many of you watch the latest BBC documentary/explorer type program Tribe but if not, do! It stars Keith Parry who by all purpose is a fairly down to earth guy who loves exploring, visiting a number of indigenous cultures around the world to learn about their ways of life. It's fasinating to see how others live their lives and what we in the 'west' think of as the normal and take for granted. Bug eating, tribal scarring with a razorblade, nose peircing and 3 days of strong hallucnigenic drugs are just some of the things he's enjoyed!

Call of nature...

2 weeks ago i wonder how many people knew what the word Tsunami meant, now the world knows. For some reason i already knew the definition of the word but thinking about it i cannot think of ever seeing or hearing of one before, Strange that as surely the action came before the word. But a reminder of the power of nature and that it doesn't stop even for humanity.

New year...

well it's been a while since i've put anything up on here and to be honest i don't think anyone has noticed! I guess the bug i once had for writing rubbish has scuttled off, or maybe i have a busier life? Who knows... But maybe you'll see more appear in this coming year, that is if i'm flooded with requests to do so. But for now enjoy thinking of your own new year resolution.
