The Odd Couple...
I was thinking yesterday about the moaning that some people do when they put 2 and 2 together, what do I mean? Well for instance "there are never enough staff in here when it's busy" & "You can never find a pen when you need one". Now think about these two closely, If it's busy there is more likelyhood that you'll moan.. when would you ever say, on one of the many occassions when it's not busy and you get served quickly, "There's always the right amount of staff to cope with my shopping needs". And the pen scenario... how many times have you used a pen and not even thought about the fact that you need it or not!?
Now I'm one who loves complaining and now I going to have to be very careful about what I complain about... If I want to say "why is it I run out of petrol the longest distance from a petrol station?" I should say "Damn me for not filling up at the last one and hoping I'd make it!" Chances of that happening are next to Zero.
Now I'm hungry, is there any food in the house?
