Smoke signals...

Ok so in the summer the smoking in public places ban starts. I'm all for this not just because i'm a moaning ex-smoker but it will make places more child friendly. I'd never smoked with my son just out of sense and that he prefered his pipe. Jokes aside parents who smoke with kids in the car need hanging. I heard an interview with people sectioned into a psychiatric hospital and therefore cannot leave, who have been happily smoking 60 a day to relax, say that if they are forced to stop they'd go mad. Yes can you believe it chain smoking loonies going mad!

Cost of children...

After the disappointment of the last movie of which thankfully i remember little, i was pleased to find some with much better acting, good honest emotion and most importantly a plot. Million dollar baby again a film i didn't want to watch but i had it sitting in my unwatched movie folder so i gave it some time. I'm glad i did, it kept me watching until the credits, at first i thought i could predict the story until it through me and the star an unexpected punch. If you haven't seen it and even if you are one of those people who still... Rent movies! Give it a go. The other film was In pursuit of happyness, and yes the spelling is correct for the film, although i'm sure it's caused problems on more than just my phones spell check. Will smith stars with a strangely deep voice, maybe his Serious movie voice, but his tale and problems raising his son and paying, or not paying his way through life was gripping. Maybe i'm getting old but i loved it. Movie of the year... So far (it's early yet)

Flying reptiles...

Ok so I my love of film led me to a movie that hasn't interested me since i saw the star of it wear the promo t shirt to another premier. Snakes on a plane, well i gave it my attention for 2 hours and it sucked like a toothless vampire. Don't go and see it, don't rent it... in fact hire an hour in a cesna at your local airfield and buy a pet snake or 2 it will be more enjoying, if perhaps slightly more expensive!

Welcome to 2007...

So here we are another year, i can't see much point in celebrating the turning of the year, after all it happens every... Umm year! What i will say is thanks to everyone who has sent me their wishes to me for a good new year, it's nice but next year please send money or gift vouchers.
