Gang land...

Enough already with all the knife crime and gang culture statistics. 54% of kids are in a gang apparently and this is terrible, well so we are led to believe by the media. Granted kids carrying knives isn't a good thing, but then again in other parts of the world its a gun. At least I can run from a knife wielding hoodie, a bullet is faster, much faster. But what is the problem with being in a gang? Kids group together with like minded others, friends nearby, and this is what man has always done. Ug - caveman or Ug - bushman . And let's look through the influences of our child hood.... The fantastic four, the famous 5, Robin hood and his merry men and even biker bloody grove. Now gangs aren't the issue here people stabbing people are. Ok so maybe Robin hood had a knife too, maybe not the best role model after all!
